Pricing and admission
The solver bids only when pricing, payment preparation, funds, infrastructure, and deadline checks pass.
Pricing
Section titled “Pricing”R_K = KuCoin ETH/USDT bid ÷ KuCoin XMR/USDT askR_R = Kraken ETH/USD bid ÷ Kraken XMR/USD askR = (4 × R_K + R_R) ÷ 5bid = floor(principal × R × multiplier) − fixed XMR subtractionRatios use checked rational arithmetic with eight-decimal market-price precision. Floor once into piconero before subtracting. The example uses 0.99 and 0.003 XMR; these are operator terms, not protocol fees.
Prices and exchange ratios must remain within 10% of a one-hour TWAP from 60 completed minute candles. Current exchange ratios must differ by at most 2% of the lower. Tickers and quotes expire after 60 seconds; future ticker skew is limited to 30 seconds.
Admission and reserves
Section titled “Admission and reserves”Before bidding, the solver validates guest-compatible recipients, rejects its own account-0 primary address, prepares an actual payment, and checks:
- XMR/bond caps, independent wallet inputs, and fee reserves.
- ETH for the bond and reserved bid/settlement gas.
- Up to three maximum-cost proof requests per outstanding obligation, plus requester cushion.
- Provider health, storage, concurrency, and timing.
The optional estimated ETH profitability gate is disabled in the example. Mandatory caps remain enforced.
Timing and qualification probability
Section titled “Timing and qualification probability”The example minimum window is 7,200 seconds. Its reserve is:
120 award + 3 × 120 propagation + 1,860 proving+ 4 × 120 EVM submissions + 600 margin = 3,420 secondsFor window W, modeled candidate blocks are:
n = min(65, 1 + floor((W − reserve) / 120))q = 1 − (1 − networkDifficulty / requiredDifficulty)^nThe probability equation applies when required difficulty exceeds network difficulty. At 7,200 seconds, 32 candidates and 5× difficulty give 999,207 ppm, above the example minimum 999,000 ppm. This uses a modeled 120-second interval, not guaranteed block arrival.
Scheduling
Section titled “Scheduling”The example allows four concurrent swaps, with a hard cap of 16. Committed obligations take priority by deadline. Discovery orders by creation block, then larger principal, then log order.
Payment reservation, nonce allocation, signing, persistence, and initial broadcast serialize. A durable broadcast acknowledgement allows the next bid to proceed while receipt tracking continues; it does not authorize payment. Once a bid is signed, changing profitability does not release the obligation.
