Architecture
Chainjump is a bonded ETH-to-XMR intent protocol. Users escrow ETH, solvers compete on the XMR payment, and a proof releases the escrow to the winner.
Components and responsibilities
Section titled “Components and responsibilities”| Component | Role |
|---|---|
| Ethereum contract | Holds ETH, runs the auction, verifies settlement, and handles expiry. |
| Solver | Prices intents, bonds bids, pays XMR, obtains proofs, and settles. |
| Monero daemon and wallet RPC | Supply block data and construct/relay payments. |
| SP1 guest and verifier | Verify the payment and RandomX computation against the intent’s exact terms. |
| Proving service | Generates the proof from the solver’s witness. |
| Website and read API | Prepare wallet transactions and display quotes and history. |
Settlement proof
Section titled “Settlement proof”The proof binds the swap ID, recipient, winning amount, minimum payment height, difficulty, transaction ID, and selected output key. It verifies the payment output, transaction inclusion, links to the work block, and RandomX target.
Honest solvers reuse miners’ work and perform no new mining. Fabricating commitments requires the configured Monero-equivalent proof of work.
Deployment
Section titled “Deployment”The mainnet deployment has a 61-second auction and 5% bond. Its contract, verifier, program key, and parameters are immutable; a changed release requires a new deployment.
Continue with the swap lifecycle or the proof specification.
