Quotes and settings
The website estimates a quote and prepares the exact terms enforced by the contract. A solver decides whether those terms are worth bidding on.
Estimated amount and minimum amount
Section titled “Estimated amount and minimum amount”KuCoin ETH/USDT and XMR/USDT prices provide the market conversion. Calculations floor to integer piconero:
estimated XMR = floor(market XMR × 0.99) − 0.003 XMRminimum XMR = floor(market XMR × (1 − slippage)) − 0.003 XMRThe default slippage is 1.5%; custom values accept up to two decimal places within 0–50%. For a market value of 0.1 XMR, the estimate is 0.096 XMR and the default minimum 0.0955 XMR. These are arithmetic examples.
The fixed deduction is a pricing assumption, not a protocol fee. Solvers use their own pricing. Nonpositive amounts and values above uint64 piconero cannot be submitted. Quotes must have observations no older than 120 seconds; stale data blocks review.
Payment height and difficulty
Section titled “Payment height and difficulty”The website requires at least three healthy synchronized mainnet daemons out of five configured nodes. Observations expire after 60 seconds. It rejects a tip spread above three blocks or a highest difficulty more than 10% above the lowest.
- Minimum height: highest observed mined block height plus one. Monero RPC’s reported
heightalready denotes that next height. - Difficulty: highest observed network difficulty multiplied by 1×, 2×, or 4×.
The submitted values remain fixed. Higher difficulty increases the expected work for fabricated commitments and can require honest solvers to wait longer for qualifying miners’ work; see security.
Settlement window
Section titled “Settlement window”Choose 2, 6, 12, or 24 hours, defaulting to 24. The contract accepts 3,600–86,400 seconds; the example solver requires at least two hours.
The deadline is the creation block timestamp plus 61 seconds plus the window. Settlement must complete before it.
