Create a swap
Swap native ETH for XMR through Chainjump. For direct contract interaction, see Swap on-chain.
Create the intent
Section titled “Create the intent”- Connect your Ethereum wallet on mainnet. Keep enough ETH for the swap and gas.
- Enter the ETH amount and a 95-character Monero mainnet standard address or subaddress from your wallet. Integrated addresses are unsupported.
- Review the minimum XMR, settlement window, and difficulty. Defaults are 1.5% slippage, 24 hours, and 1× difficulty; see quotes and settings.
- Review the refreshed terms, recipient, contract, and ETH value. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
- Wait for confirmation, then follow the swap in History. Save its transaction hash or swap ID.
Your recipient is public on Ethereum. The intent cannot be edited or cancelled early, so verify the address before submitting.
After submission
Section titled “After submission”Solvers have 61 seconds from the creation block to bid. The highest bidder then pays XMR and submits a proof before the settlement deadline; no further acceptance is needed from you.
Check the payment in your Monero wallet. If there is no bid or the winner misses the deadline, follow tracking and refunds. If confirmation is uncertain, use Check again on the existing transaction before creating another intent.
